Gurman: iOS 18 to Revamp Control Center

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the forthcoming iOS 18 update for iPhone will feature unspecified changes to the Control Center.

If that sounds familiar, it’s because Control Center was rumored to be revamped in both iOS 15 and iOS 17. However, neither update introduced significant changes to the feature, which provides quick access to system functions like Wi-Fi, display brightness, volume, and more. Those rumors came from unreliable sources, whereas Mark Gurman is considered more reputable.

iCommunityPakistan has learned that Apple has internally tested a redesigned Control Center for iOS 18, but it remains unconfirmed if these changes have been finalized.

Apple will unveil iOS 18 during its WWDC keynote on June 10, with the first beta expected to be available to Apple Developer Program members immediately after the presentation. The public beta will likely follow in July, with a wide release for all compatible iPhones expected in September.
