Apple Released Second Public Beta of iOS 17.6

Apple has released the second public betas of iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 to public beta testers today, following the initial developer betas released two weeks ago.

Public beta testers can access the beta by opening the Settings app, navigating to the Software Update section, selecting “Beta Updates,” and enabling the iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 Public Beta. Enrollment on Apple’s beta testing website is necessary.

All promised features for iOS 17 have already been implemented, so the contents of iOS 17.6 remain unclear, with no new features discovered in the developer betas.

As Apple shifts its focus to iOS 18, iOS 17.6 is likely to include bug fixes and other behind-the-scenes improvements.

Apple has also released the second public betas for the upcoming watchOS 10.6 and tvOS 17.6 updates.
