Yesterday, Apple introduced a new Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop Apple Watch band along with a matching watch face and wallpaper.

The band boasts a vibrant design inspired by various pride flags, featuring a laser-etched lug engraved with “PRIDE 2024.” Representing Black, Hispanic, and Latin communities, as well as those affected by HIV/AIDS, are the black and brown colors, while the pink, light blue, and white colors symbolize transgender and non-binary individuals.

Accompanying the band is a fresh Pride Radiance watch face and wallpaper for iOS and iPadOS. This design showcases beams of light against a dark backdrop, stacking atop one another. On the Apple Watch, these colors illuminate each numeral of the watch face and dynamically respond to the wearer’s wrist movements via gyroscope input. Meanwhile, on the iPhone and iPad, the beams spell out “Pride” and shift dynamically upon device unlock. Notably, users can now personalize the Pride watch face and wallpapers to display specific colors representing LGBTQ+ communities.

The new braided Solo Loop will hit shelves starting May 22. As for the Pride Radiance watch face and iPhone and iPad wallpaper, they will become available “soon” upon the release of watchOS 10.5, iOS 17.5, and iPadOS 17.5.
