Apple to Allow Verified Businesses to Display Logos in Mail, Phone, and Wallet

Apple has announced an update to its Apple Business Connect feature, which lets verified businesses keep their branding and location information consistent across apps like Maps, Wallet, Phone, and Mail.

With Business Connect, companies can sign up to show their brand in the Phone app when calling an iPhone user, or in the Mail app to make their emails easier to recognize. Businesses can sign up for Branded Mail now, and their logos will appear to customers when iOS 18.2 is released later this year.

In 2025, companies will also be able to use Business Caller ID, showing their name, logo, and department on the incoming call screen.

Additionally, businesses can now display their logo in the Tap to Pay feature on iPhones, replacing the usual category icon. Apple says this will help customers confirm they’re paying a verified business.

Companies have already been able to manage their business location on Maps using Business Connect, but now the feature is open to businesses offering services or operating online without a physical location.
