Apple is set to launch its HomePod and HomePod mini in Thailand and Malaysia starting May 10. The announcement, made through Apple’s official newsrooms in both countries, coincides closely with the HomePod mini’s fourth anniversary and marks over six years since the original HomePod debuted in the US.

While the press releases don’t address any delays, they do mention a special offer: customers purchasing either product will receive six months of Apple Music free.

Pricing mirrors that of the US, with the HomePod mini priced at $99 and the second-generation HomePod at $299. In Thailand, prices are slightly higher at $105 and $310 respectively, while Malaysian buyers will pay $111 and $324.

Interestingly, neither country initially displayed the products under their “TV & Home” dropdown online, but a deeper dive into the section reveals both the HomePod and HomePod mini listed among the offerings.

Pre-orders for both devices are now open, with shipping scheduled to begin on May 10.

Meanwhile, speculation persists about Apple’s plans to update the HomePod line. Patent illustrations hint at a soundbar-like version being considered, while rumors persist about a larger-screen HomePod in development.
