Shortly after the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max came out last September, some customers noticed the devices overheating. Apple fixed the problem with an iOS 17 update. For the upcoming iPhone 16 models, set to be released later this year, Apple may take extra steps to prevent overheating.
The Information reported today that the iPhone 16 models will have a “larger graphite sheet” inside to prevent overheating. This matches a rumor from last November about the iPhone 16 having a better cooling system.
Apple is expected to release the iPhone 16 series in September, so the new phones should be out in a few months. With this upgrade, the overheating problem should be fixed.
