Renowned leaker Sonny Dickson has shared a photo allegedly depicting the upcoming iPhone 16 series, unveiling the screen sizes for all four models. Displayed on Dickson’s X/Twitter account, the image aligns with recent speculations of varying screen dimensions for each model. Unlike the iPhone 14 and 15 series, where both standard and Pro sizes boasted identical 6.1-inch screens, and likewise for the Plus and Pro Max at 6.7 inches, this pattern shifts with the iPhone 16 lineup. Since the iPhone 12, the 6.1-inch screen has been the norm for both regular and Pro models, tracing back to the iPhone XR in 2018. The larger 6.7-inch Pro Max size debuted with the iPhone 12 and extended to the Plus models in the iPhone 14 series. Notably, the standard iPhone 16 retains the 6.1-inch display, while the Pro model adopts a 6.3-inch screen. The Plus maintains the traditional 6.7-inch size, but the Pro Max escalates to a new 6.9-inch screen, marking a significant increase. Additionally, the photo suggests a slight width disparity between the next Pro and Pro Max models compared to the regular and Plus sizes, akin to the iPhone 15 series. Anticipated to be officially unveiled alongside iOS 18 in the fall, Apple’s iPhone 16 lineup continues to stir excitement and speculation within the tech community.
