This year’s upcoming iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to increase in size from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches. A new image shows how the current iPhone 15 Pro Max compares to what could be Apple’s largest iPhone ever.

The rumored 0.2-inch size increase for Apple’s larger premium model is visually noticeable, but its significance for users in everyday use remains to be seen.
The smaller iPhone 16 Pro is expected to grow from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches. Both iPhone 16 Pro models are anticipated to be taller and wider than the iPhone 15 Pro models, although their thickness will remain the same. The weight is likely to increase slightly due to the larger size.
Apple is rumored to be using Border Reduction Structure (BRS) technology for the iPhone 16 Pro models, which should result in slimmer bezels and more display space.
Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro’s display could be up to 20% brighter for typical SDR content, reaching up to 1,200 nits of brightness, potentially enhancing the screen viewing experience.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are expected to maintain their 6.1- and 6.7-inch sizes. If Apple follows its usual launch schedule, the iPhone 16 lineup will be released around mid-September.
