A new leak supports previous claims that Apple plans to introduce a slimmer iPhone 17 and make 120Hz ProMotion a standard feature across all models. Earlier rumors suggested that the entire iPhone 17 lineup would feature LTPO displays, enabling the ProMotion technology for a smoother, more responsive screen. Specifically, these rumors mentioned that the iPhone 17 Plus would include this display, and the existence of a Plus model has been reiterated.
Now, leaker “Ice Universe” on Weibo, known for accurate iPhone display details, has shared specifications and prices for the iPhone 17 range. The leak confirms the use of LTPO screens for all models except the iPhone SE 4, which will retain the older LTPS displays.
Leaker “Ice Universe” has published a specifications and price list for the iPhone 17 range
The leak indicates that the iPhone 17 will feature a 6.27-inch LTPO screen, similar to the iPhone 17 Pro, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a 6.68-inch LTPO display.
- iPhone 17: $799
- iPhone 17 Pro: $1,099
- iPhone 17 Pro Max: $1,199
Leaker “Ice Universe” also mentions an additional model, believed to be the rumored slimmer edition, which will have a 6.65-inch LTPO display and start at $1,299. This might be the “Ultra” model speculated for several generations.
According to the leak, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will come with 12GB of RAM and a triple 48MP camera system, and they will feature the 3nm A19 Pro chip, while the standard models will have an A19 chip.
Another benefit of the regular iPhones getting a ProMotion screen is the potential inclusion of an always-on display.
